  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, access times, and referring URLs.

2.3 Camera and Photo Access

The Service requires camera access to photograph logbook pages. We only access your camera when you actively use the capture feature. Photos are uploaded over HTTPS, re-encoded during processing to remove embedded camera metadata such as EXIF and location data, and stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To process and digitize your logbook entries using AI/OCR
  • To create and manage your account
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • To improve and optimize the Service

4. Data Processing and AI

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to extract data from your logbook images and digital logbook files. This processing involves:

  • Uploading images to secure cloud servers for processing
  • Using third-party AI services, including Google Vertex AI (Gemini), OpenAI, and Anthropic, to analyze and extract text from images or files
  • Storing extracted data in our secure database

We do not sell your personal flight data or use your logbook photos to train our own models. Your data is processed for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist in providing the Service, such as cloud hosting, AI processing, authentication, payments, analytics, email delivery, advertising attribution, and app distribution.
